On this special day, we celebrate the boundless potential of children and honor the wisdom of our elders. This year’s World Children’s Day reminds us that “Children’s Rights are Everyone’s Rights,” advocating for a future where every child is heard, protected, and empowered to thrive.
At the same time, the International Day of Older Persons calls on us to “Fulfill the Promises of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights for Older Persons,” encouraging reflection on the respect and care our elders deserve as they continue to shape our communities with their invaluable experiences.
Let us bridge generations, fostering a world where both young and old live with dignity, hope, love, and respect. Together, we create a future where every voice matters.
